UserInputTouch Plug-In

This custom channel UserInputTouch extends the capabilities of the standard UserInput channel into the realm of Multitouch. The Plug-In delivers a set of active movements back as vectors. The individual results are X,Y positions and a mode. Movements and single touches are recognized.

Technology Background
|
The application videos are produced with a touchscreen capable of decting up to two contacts.
Fingerball uses Newton physics. Wihite sands employs a toy drummer and a toy wheel loader.

Testbed Application
|
UserInputTouch-Testbed.cgr traces and summarizes touch events. Start experimenting in Fullscreen mode.
Delivers current Display and Viewport size, FPS, current UserInputTouch channel channel state. -- For each touch: current x,y coordinate, accumulated event summary. The numbers in ( ) relate to Win7 definitions. -- A full trace is displayed in two GUI text boxes. Recording can be stopped and reset. Very old traces are discarded.
