Crater Lake, Oregon
|
This is a typical terrain solution. The source texture comes with a resolution of 773 x 773 pixel. The 3D ObjectData contains around 600 000 vertices. A sample screenshot with Collision detection is shown [here].

The color channel weights are individually set to focus on specific colors. This advanced scenario used negative weights to focus on a specific RGB color, and not just the luminance of a pixel. Results below zero are clamped. Please note, that the diferent results are obtained from the same texture source.
The resolution is 2048 x 2048 pixel, which leads up to more than 4 million vertices.

Focus on blue, red and green content is subtracted, negative results clamped to 0. Observe the red spot in the lover center, it is set to zeo height. |
